Meet Mike Professionally

Mike Temple brings over twenty years in executive finance roles to his practice as an interim/contract CFO for public, private, start-up and not-for-profit enterprises, in a broad spectrum of business sectors including software, medical devices, traditional manufacturing and service delivery.

Mike is an effective leader who brings strong financial skills grounded by experience in both operations and general management. He has solid experience in organizing and linking strategic initiatives to annual operating plans and building long-term financial forecasting plans. Mike has successfully assisted start-up companies in raising equity capital from institutional investors. Mike also has a proven track record in helping companies successfully plan and manage growth and has a knack for bringing out the best in team members. He has served as Chief Financial Officer of the Yoshida Group, the Chief Financial Officer / Executive VP and General Manager of Bioject Inc., a medical device / drug delivery company, VP of Finance of Inovise, CFO/COO for Open Source Development Labs and several early stage companies.

Meet Mike Personally

When he isn’t busy with clients, Mike spends his time playing tennis and golf with friends. He can also be regularly found in the gym, hanging from a TRX strap or engaged in some other perspiration-inducing activity – all part of a personal commitment to a physically fit lifestyle. Quality time with his wife, Linda – who fortunately also shares his passion for tennis and golf – also figures prominently into his personal life. Mike accomplishes the two-fold goal of ‘giving back’ and staying involved in the community by serving actively on 1 or 2 volunteer boards at any given time. He is currently President of the USTA-Pacific NW, a busy role that keeps him heavily involved in tennis at both the regional and national levels.
