Meet Pamela Professionally
Pamela Kislak has over 12 years of experience in helping companies successfully bring educational technology products to market. Most recently, as the VP of Strategic Initiatives at KC Distance Learning, Pamela led the market research and analysis work that refocused the company’s growth strategy from its historic focus as a consumer-oriented company to an organization that targeted the K12 institutional market. Through this analysis, she also evaluated and developed new pricing and packaging for the consumer and institutional products. By focusing on the lead-to-close process and developing campaigns and outreach programs that effectively engaged parents and students, her work laid the foundation for the company’s dramatic increase in revenues of over 100% in just three years.
Previously, Pamela served as Director of Marketing for Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), where she was responsible for marketing NWEA’s adaptive assessment product and overseeing the marketing product launch of NWEA’s business intelligence product – the organization’s first product launch in five years.
Meet Pamela Personally
Pamela‘s passion for the outdoors made her relocation from the East Coast to Portland an easy choice…. hiking waterfalls in the gorge, sharing ski vacations with family, swimming in lakes and the ocean, and running amid fall foliage are some of her favorite ways to take advantage of the Pacific Northwest all year long. Pamela also loves taking a good idea and turning it into reality – whether planning a vacation in Europe, launching a foundation for her son’s school, or figuring out how to build a soap box derby-car in less than a week, she’s always up for a new adventure or challenge. Pamela and her husband have two elementary-aged children.
