Meet Sarah Professionally

Sarah Altman is passionate about advocating selling as a noble profession and helping companies focus on improving the people, process and skills to drive meaningful change – especially relative to improving revenue sustainability. Sarah helps companies who are focused on improving revenue, building a professional sales organization or are working to better connect selling messaging and processes to customer needs and wants. With over 18 years’ of selling and leading sales teams with companies such as Citigroup, Oracle, EMC, Vesta and WebTrends, Sarah has built a portfolio of best practices that provide insight into improvements that directly impact revenue. She has spent the past four years providing sales consulting services to a variety of global clients.

With a mix of sales leadership and sales operations experience Sarah provides a unique capability of being able to implement meaningful changes into both processes and CRM systems to improve sales effectiveness. She helps her clients drive revenue by identifying gaps, and focusing on areas that will lead to the greatest impact including: lead generation and prospecting, selling skills (effective communication and messaging, strategic account and territory planning, pipeline management, time management), selling process (deal methodology, metrics), one-on-one executive and sales professional coaching, and sales enablement and operational planning (CRM alignment to marketing and sales practices).

Meet Sarah Personally

Once, when asked what makes her unique by a prospective client, she blurted out ‘I practice Yoga’. While true, it’s not necessarily the best ‘sales’ message for a CEO of a company. However, she credits her yoga practice with improved flexibility, both of body and of mind – and got the client. Sarah is also addicted to Europe, and after spending over six years working and traveling abroad she has a dream of an executive retreat center (with cooking and yoga of course) in Provence, France as her ‘vacation home’. With her husband, David, she spends time playing the piano, practicing yoga, hiking, cooking, skiing and traveling to do more of the same in cool places.
