Meet Janet Professionally
Janet Johnson brings significant expertise in helping companies harness the power of technology to engage in more meaningful – and profitable – relationships with their customers. Finding the nexus between social media, brand, and business, Janet is a 25-year practitioner in integrated marketing – in its truest sense. Janet pioneered social media techniques when it was only a blip on most marketers’ radar screens. In 2004, she launched the groundbreaking “Paybloggers” program for Marqui, which resulted in press coverage by more than 200 magazines and news organizations, putting Marqui on the social media “innovator” map, and spawning a speaking tour that aligned Marqui with emerging “white hat” social media ethics, transparency and authenticity.
Janet has deep experience in marketing both B2B and B2C brands. Working with her clients she provides social media strategies, training, lead generation and marketing strategies, systems and program support. Janet’s focus generally results in tight integration of marketing programs, lead generation and sales’ success. Her understanding of effective lead generation vehicles helped one B2B client build 1150% increase in leads in one year, delivering the leads needed for the sales organization to exceed goals. Prior to consulting she held key marketing, sales and business development positions with top technology companies including Apple, Enron, Now Software, and Merant.

When Janet isn’t deeply engrossed in client projects, she pairs her love of the natural abundance of the Northwest with her passion for digital media. Whether chronicling their regular visits to the local Farmers Market (yes, even in January) in photos on Facebook; or exploring area restaurants and sharing favorite tips on Foursquare; Janet and her family enjoy much that our time and this place have to offer, both online and IRL.
The proud owner of a flexible mind and an inflexible body, Janet struggles to loosen her grasp on her handlebars as she longs to fly.
